What are AIPs?

Aptos Improvement Proposals (AIPs) serve as blueprints for enhancing the Aptos Network. They primarily focus on modifications that affect active services within the Aptos ecosystem. These proposals encompass various aspects, including the core blockchain protocol, Move, smart contract functionalities and verification systems, standards for deploying and operating the Aptos Network or APIs for interacting with the network and processing data.

What are the requirements to vote on AIPs in GovScan?

To vote on an AIP in GovScan you just need to log in with the Aptos wallet associated with your $APT stake. Once connected, you will see your voting power, voting history and you'll be able to vote.

How do I delegate my voting power?

Choose a Delegate and the voting power amount you want to delegate, here Delegates. By delegating voting power, it doesn't mean you also delegate tokens. The tokens you have already staked only determine the amount of voting power you currently have and are able to delegate.

I want to cancel the voting power delegation. How can I do that?

You will need to access the Manage Delegations section on the Delegates page and undo the delegation.

Can I change my vote on an AIP if the proposal is still active?

Make sure you have made your final decision before casting a vote on an AIP. If you already voted, you will no longer be able to change your vote.
