The Tally vote (link 2) for establishing the Gaming Catalyst Program Foundation laid out a process for the creation of the initial GCP Council (Council) to govern and oversee the setup and mobilization of GCP.
As part of that process - three council members were elected and two members are to be appointed by the GCP Working Group (WG) who are subject to reconfirmation by the DAO. All Council Members need to be re-elected after a 1 year tenure regardless of elected or nominated status.
The two nominated Council members up for reconfirmation are Tim Chang and John Kennedy.
This specific vote is to confirm John Kennedy
- John Kennedy has been invaluable to the GCP with deep expertise across venture, gaming infrastructure, and DAO governance
- We will be hosting a variety of events and channels to connect with both Tim and John - delegates are encouraged to join and learn more about each Council member
- In the event reconfirmation is unsuccessful, a new election will be held to fill one or both seats
