Background and Context
Node Operator Bridgetower was recently acquired by Solstice Staking AG, a Swiss public limited company and Deus X Capital Enterprise company. As announced on the forum, all of the existing Bridgetower validators and associated delegated staking operations would remain fully operational through the transition, managed by the same team, and operating on the same on-premise infrastructure in Switzerland. According to Bridgetower, concerning their data in the Curated Module operator registry, the registry address of their Operator (#17) is to remain unchanged. The only thing that changes is the Node Operator’s name to “Solstice” requiring on-chain vote. This Snapshot and the on-chain vote to change the name are independent of each other, the decision-making process for whether a Node Operator continues to participate in the Curated set has its own flow, while the on-chain renaming is intended to ensure that the on-chain name matches the actual name.
The Lido Node Operator Sub-Governance Group (LNOSG) has reviewed the provided information related to the transition and found no reason to propose ceasing the operator’s participation in Lido on Ethereum Curated set.
The LNOSG supports continuing collaboration with this operator, as the operator has confirmed on the forum that no changes are planned following the acquisition and has expressed their readiness to continue their work.
The detailed conclusion was published on the forum and may offer further help to voters in their consideration.
Proposal
Allow Solstice to continue Node Operations in Lido on Ethereum as-is.
Voting Outcomes
A vote "For" indicates agreement with this proposal. If "For" wins, Solstice will continue Node Operations in Lido on Ethereum as-is.
A vote "Against" indicates disagreement with this proposal. As the range of dispute options is extensive, a vote "Against" entails a discussion to identify which options should be considered and brought to a subsequent vote.
